UP AT THE GARDEN

Weekly Gardening

Come join us for our weekly working bee at Grow Forrest Hill. Each week we learn a new skill, harvest and share what we collect, and enjoy a cup of tea together. There is a playground for the kids and most weeks some generous person will bring along some food to share. It's a great opportunity to get out in the sun (or the rain), learn something new, and get to know your neighbours. See our social media for updates on our focus for each week. Monthly Workshops

The garden feeds both the stomach and the mind. Most weeks our crew are learning something new, but we run intentional workshops once a month covering various topics related to the season. We also run regular cooking demonstrations with produce from the garden. Check out our social media for upcoming workshop topics.

Events

We are a festive bunch and love a good get-together. Each season we host a festival, with a focus on the kids, and a chance to do some much-needed fundraising. A summer picnic, an autumn harvest, a winter Matariki celebration, and a spring festival of seeds. Check out our social media for upcoming festivals, or subscribe to our newsletter.
